Meghan Wallace
director producer storyteller
Storytelling is central to my life – whether that’s a brilliant novel, a brand new play or just a wee gossip with my mates, I feel that stories are what help people connect. Using theatre as a tool to connect people is the core of my creative practice. I am excited by local new-writing theatre that aims to spark dialogue and social change, while championing Scots dialect and women’s stories.
I am an emerging freelance director, originally from Dundee. I have spent the past two years developing my practice at Edinburgh Napier University on their MFA Directing course. I am also a freelance producer, and resident producer of Without Compromise Theatre since 2024.
